Leadership Communication

Leadership Communication Styles and My Logo

“The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place” – George Bernard Shaw. How aware are you of your communication effectiveness?

Leadership communication is one of the three biggest gaps that leaders struggle with. How can this be addressed?

1. By understanding the role culture plays, becoming aware of your own cultural traits, and learning to adapt, when needed.
2. By becoming aware of your preferred communication styles, and out-of-preference styles, and learning to use both, depending on the needs of your audience.

The 4 styles are:

1. Direct
2. Structured
3. Expressive
4. Visual

There is no better or worse here. Each has its strengths and weak points! Which might you have?

I run full-day workshops on leadership communication for teams. Take the CPSS survey to discover your profile and discover how to improve your leadership communication intelligence.

As for the image here, it’s my new logo :-). Especially for the style 4 “visual” communicators among you, it represents a person (the client) “ahead of the 3 curves” (each one represents the biggest leadership challenges, I mentioned), and it is what I work with leaders on, nowadays. I hope you like it. Stay ahead of the curves!
