Who I Am
As a Dutch globetrotter with over 30 years of international experience, my journey began as an expatriate child and evolved into a dynamic career across various global landscapes. Navigating both triumphs and challenges in the corporate world has honed my resilience, adaptability, and cultural sensitivity.
My passion lies in empowering leaders to reach their full potential. It’s about helping others. Drawing from my extensive leadership experience and specialized training as a leadership coach, I embrace an integrated coaching philosophy. This approach combines various methodologies to address the unique needs of each leader. I coach with heart and spine ! I focus on C-Suite and those who aspire to reach this level.
Residing with my family in the serene UK countryside, I cherish family life and indulge in pursuits like sailing, travel, reading, hiking, and tennis.

I have a Certificate of Executive Coaching from Henley Business School and have an International Coaching Federation certification (ACC) and over 500 hours of executive coaching experience (individual and group) at INSEAD, ESMT, and elsewhere, with clients from over 40 countries. I am certified to use Hogan Assessments and 360 feedback. I can leverage over 30 years of global business executive experience across multiple industries and cultures, allowing me to better relate to the client context.
I have had the privilege of being a Phoenix Encounter facilitator over ten times as part of INSEAD’s Advanced Management Programme (AMP) and as part of numerous corporate programmes at INSEAD. I have also collaborated directly with multiple corporations, using the Phoenix Encounter Method. See the recent assignments section for more details.
Finally, I have attended Ian Woodward’s Leadership Communications Masterclasses and have coached over 100 students from INSEAD on GEMBA, MBA and LCI programmes.
